The third version of  the 7 Fires ...film was  presented at the 2004  Global Indigenous Media panels and screenings along with his paper Indians In The Age of Terror. Paper  edited by writer, scholar & mentor Rasunah Marsden. Both forms presented  at the Society for Cinema and Media International Conference for Cinema & Media Studies, Atlanta Georgia and as well as at; a post graduate seminar at the University of Georgia Art & Design, USA. Academic  venture completed with the support of Ron Morin Law, Joyce Fossella  and Staff at the Vancouver Native Education Centre, and Office  of External Affairs, Canada.  Pam Wilson, Academic and Writer , a key organizer  of the Global Indigenous Panel wrote "Donald also a filmmaker, and teacher formerly at Vancouver's Native Education Centre, "raised extremely important political and cultural questions about the indigenous media in today's "age of terror" and the use of film technology as a tool of resistance to capitalism. Donald theorized what he sees as a move from the age of mechanical reproduction towards an “age of technological authenticity.”  2nd version of 7 Fires Film presented Terre at La Vue Festival Montreal, 2003, and originally premiered 2,002 at the IMAG Vancouver Film Festival.  A Native Revisionist Creations  production of  a Mannitou Creations Presentation of the Indigenous Literacy Manufacturing Company  of Eagle Feathers Film & Music Manufacturing Company.
